If They Come - Second Brain Will Build It

Second Brain Mac contest. Okay, a little reverse movie psychology being applied I know, but the way of the Beta is to make a platform and refine it according to user needs and suggestions. With all the various platforms out there, I thought some "once again" news about a really great startup called Second Brain might be in order for two reasons. First, this startup has exceptional potential and is still building (So input is crucial). Secondly, they have stepped the game up by offering some very cool incentives for users. Dissatisfaction with one’s current state of "Webness" might well be cured with the right tools at the right community.

On the first note, what we might call "a clean slate" relatively, just might be the best way for users to get what they really want. For the second aspect, the odds of winning an online Beta contest are geometrically greater than on any other type of contest. This is particularly true when the participants win based on their activity.

Second Brain is a social aggregator site that is rapidly becoming a vast library of content. Their goal has been to establish the world’s largest online libraty of user content. Lars Teigen - CEO and founder of Second Brain, and his team have redesgined and ramped this platform in preparation for their upcoming Beta 2.0 launch. Second Brain may have the cleanest and most user friendly interface of any such site, with superb potential to perhaps become the "all in one" we have argued about these last two years.

On the contest side, Lars and Company are gving away a MacBook Air , and XBox 360 and a number of other cool prizes to new and old users who participate. To be honest, the odds of winning such a contest (even with 10,000 signups) is vastly greater than any traditional contest. News users also have a direct impact on their chances of winning unlike ocnventional contests where your "Monopoly" pieces really only represent a chance. I like Second Brain and did from the start. The developer is brilliant, the platform is sound, the UI is clean and the community is growing.

So, signing up for Second Brain would seem to be a "no brainer" for anyone who wants to win a very cool prize and also sort out all those services they have. The win-win here is that taking a chance to win ..allows users to win by becoming more efficient. Check it out - I know you need a Second Brain.

Editor’s Note - Second Brain is a sponsor of Phil-Butler Unplugged
